Magic Pot Beverages

Hi guys! A while ago I was sent a box of malaysia's very own beverage, Magic Pot. Feeling excited, I quickly popped them into my fridge and got myself ready to taste them!

3 flavours

cute packaging

Here are 3 flavours.

Mixed berries
It claims : Contain grape seed extract as antioxidant
and High in Vitamin C

Soursop and mangosteen
It claims : Contains Source of dietary fibre and high in Vitamin C

Apple and Pear
It claims : Contains Vitamin B1, B2, B6 and high in Vitamin C.

I was advised that I should drink them chill and it's great for the humid weather of Jb~

The packaging was so adorable and most of my friends and family commented on it. The size of the bottle is small and compact.
They are each 250ml. Its easily to bring out for picnic and trips.

My favourite was the soursop and mangosteen which I was kinda surprised.
I was never a mangosteen girl. I thought I would like the berry one and tried that first. The only con is that I felt that it was a bit too sweet but it would be great if you were to fill the drink with ice. The sweetness would be just right.

Cheelicious Bakery and Café at Pelangi

Whenever I have that urge for cheese cakes, Cheelicious in Pelangi always tends to pop in my mind. With a variety of cheese cakes to choose from. My favourite has always been their brulee cheese cake. Well, I do like me creme brulees~

But today, we not talking about their cakes but rather... their Tuna sandwich!

It was a usual day where I couldn't sit down for lunch... so I decided to pop over to take away some food.

So I order a tuna sandwich and a cuppa latte~ To my surprise, I've been craving and thinking of it since then.

My First Impression。。。
There was a lot of Mayo which i was kinda put off by it, but surprised when I realised that the Mayo did not overpower the sandwich but rather add more creaminess and texture. It was smooth~ I think they got a better quality Mayo~ unlike those cheapos we get from outside.

It was warm when I held it in my hands.
A small gesture but a big plus point for me.
To be able to consume a warm lunch is such a bliss.
They also added my favourite pickles...
So for those who are not fans....
let them know.
But the pickles were a great combination to add a bit to tang to balance out the creaminess~ Bread had great texture and chewy in a good way~ ^^

If there's anything I have to complain, it was be the portion. Found it a bit small.
Price is a bit high but I would definitely go back for more.

MyLiberica Coffee at Mount Austin

MyLiberica Coffee at Mount Austin...

We ordered
Hazelnut Latte               Rm 10
Mocha Extra                   Rm 12
Latte Extra                       Rm 11
Pomelo tea                      Rm 9
Ciabatta Tuna                 Rm 14
Tiramisu                           Rm 15.90
Earl Grey crepe cake      Rm 9.90

*They have a 10% service charge*

My Hazelnut Latte was fantastic as usual, but sadly the Latte and mocha wasn't as good as the last time I had it.

The Pomelo Tea is a great choice for anyone who doesn't like coffee. Highly recommended.

The Ciabatta Tuna was fantastic. Filled with the right amount of tuna and vegetables. Love the Ciabatta bread! It was good and fresh.

Tiramisu as usual was good. ;)

I tasted the Earl Grey crepe cake for the first time. Loved it cos I'm a fan of Earl grey! Not too sweet, nor over powering~

The environment was very comfortable with a great relaxing song list.

Service was fantastic. They were very patient and efficient. Water was served even before we ordered. They didn't rush or pressured us to order and waited afar while we browsed through their menu.

When I arrived, they didn't have any empty tables that would fit 5 people. I told them that I would have more friends coming over and that I'll be needing a bigger table. They sat the 2 of us in a smaller table. Later when my other friends arrived, the young waiter immediately came over (without me calling out to them) and moved us to a bigger table which they cleaned up immediately when the pervious patrons left. They had smiley faces, waited patiently for us to order and answered any questions asked.

You may ask why I was impressed. I think it's mainly because the people who served us were young adults who were polite.

Nowadays, it's kinda hard to find good service in jb. *wink*

Overall, wonderful place to have a cuppa and relax. Highly recommended!
